June 2024
Cardinal Stadium Improvements-Work began on June 18th to remove the current turf that is at its end of life and replace with new turf. The track will also be resurfaced. Anticipated completion date is beginning of August 2024.

June 26-Phase 1 of the work at Cardinal Stadium is complete. Phase 1 saw the removal of the old surface including turf, pellets, and sand. The crew is now rolling the existing base to smooth it back out and will shoot the grade to ensure a proper crown still exists for the new field drainage. Installation crews are set to arrive within the next week to start Phase 2 and laying the new field. The new field will have much improved drainage with the latest sand/rubber mixture.
