Dear Henry Elementary Families,

It is with great pleasure that I can personally welcome you and your child(ren) into our Henry Elementary School family. I look forward to getting to know each of you as we work together in building the foundation for your child’s education.

I am currently entering my 20th year in early childhood education, and three of those years I have served as a building administrator. I continue to strive for student success. I believe that it truly takes a partnership in creating a learning environment that serves as a light so our students can shine. We have a hard working and dedicated staff that genuinely cares about our students. Our vision as a school family is to empower our students with the mindset and skills to thrive and take on the world!

Hello, Clinton Cardinals!

It is my pleasure to serve as the Assistant Principal at Henry Elementary. This is my 12th year in education and 3rd year in the Clinton School District. I graduated from Missouri State with both my undergraduate in Special Education and my Masters in Educational Leadership. I am currently working towards my Specialist Degree in Superintendency from William Woods University. Prior to Clinton, I have taught in both the Lebanon and Warsaw school districts.

A little about me: I am married to Tim Townsend, also a teacher & coach in the district. We share 3 amazing children together; Ainsley, Easton and Axton. When we are not working, we enjoy family time in our pool or rooting for the Denver Broncos! We also enjoy watching my husband coach and going to Cardinal games.

Our goal for this school year is to continue building positive relationships with students and their families, and to continue the progress and culture of our Henry building. We are excited to introduce the Leader In Me program to our staff and students this year, and provide solid leadership foundations for all our kids.
