Our district website,, is a great place to visit when you are seeking a variety of information.

In this VIDEO TUTORIAL, we will show you where you can find information that will be helpful to you throughout the school year.

MOBILE APPDistrict App

For parents, students and community members, the Clinton School District App is designed to offer one place where you can access the most needed information in a mobile, on-the-go format. You can download the district app through the Google Play Store or Apple App Store. Search for "Clinton School District".

The app provides calendar events, current news from your child's school and the district, access to school websites, sports/activities information, district notifications (including snow days), a staff directory with immediate connection to phone and email, access to PowerSchool for grades, attendance and meal balances, breakfast/lunch menus, ability to make online payments, AND MORE!

Some things to note:
*When downloading the app, select "Allow" to receive push notifications with the latest news and updates from the District.

*When adding the app to your phone, make sure you go through the "Start setup" procedures. Completing this step allows you to customize the app to receive information from the school(s) that your child(ren) attend.

*Whenever you open the app and receive the "New Content" prompt, be sure and choose "yes". This will ensure that you are always viewing the most up-to-date info.

POWERSCHOOLPowerSchool Parent Portal
One of the best ways for parents to stay informed on their child's progress in school is to create a PowerSchool Parent Portal account.

PowerSchool is a secure internet-based website that will allow you to easily keep track of nearly everything your student does while at school. This service will allow you to view your student’s attendance, grades, schedule, food service balance, progress, assignments, emergency information, and more. You can also download the PowerSchool app to your mobile device.

The district has created a short video to guide you through the process of creating a Parent Portal account. Please click the link below and follow the simple steps to create your account. If you should have any questions please contact your child's school office.

**Please note-The video above was created using the District's previous website. The instructions are still the same, but you will now find access to PowerSchool by clicking on the PowerSchool quick link button below the banner images on our website.**

SOCIAL MEDIAConnect with us on Social Media
The district uses a variety of methods to communicate with parents, one of which are our social media outlets.

During the school year we share pictures and videos from inside our classrooms, so you never know when your child might show up on our page! Our social media outlets are also a great way to stay informed about upcoming events, announcements and those winter snow days!

Make sure you like us on Facebook (Clinton Schools). To ensure that you don't miss any of our posts, you will also need to choose "see first" under the "Following" tab.

You will also find us on Twitter at @ClintonMoCards.

You can find our social media directory, which lists classroom accounts and our social media guidelines here.

SCHOOL MEALSBreakfast and Lunch Information

You can access breakfast and lunch menus on the district website under the "For Parents" tab or using the "menu" quick link under the scrolling pictures on the home page (August/September menus will be added soon). These menus can also easily be accessed through the district's mobile app.

While meals will continue to be offered at no cost to students in the 2021-2022 school year, it is still extremely important that families complete a Free and Reduced Meal Application. Completion of these forms benefit families and the school district in multiple ways.

Participation rates directly impact schools’ eligibility to receive state and federal funding, which provides valuable resources that play a key role in our students’ success.

In addition, students who qualify for benefits may also be eligible for discounted rates on:

  • Fees associated with applying for college
  • Fees associated with academic tests such as the ACT, SAT, etc.
  • Advanced Placement
  • Scholarship opportunities
  • And more

Please be sure to complete the form that your school provides you with in your Back to School paperwork, you can also visit your child’s school office to request a form, or you can print a form here.

**Please note that any additional items (ala carte, additional meals/items, extra milks, etc.) will incur a charge.**

immunizationsImmunization Requirements
Do you have a child entering kindergarten, 8th grade or 12th grade? Students in these grades have certain immunization requirements. You can view these requirements here.

If your child is still in need of immunizations, please contact your child’s physician or the Henry County Health Center (885-8193) to schedule immunizations before school starts.

**Please note-Students who have enrolled in Virtual Learning, are still students of the Clinton School District and must have up-to-date immunizations as well.**

If you have any questions you can contact the district nurse, Julie Balke at 660-885-5585.

TEXT MESSAGESDistrict Text Messaging System
It is always our goal to have the most up-to-date contact information for our families. One of the ways we will reach out to parents regarding important events, school closings, and safety alerts is via our text messaging service through School Messenger.

If you received text messages from our district last year AND your cell phone number has not changed, there is nothing further you need to do.

If you did not receive text messages from the district last year OR your cell number has changed, there are TWO very important steps you need to take.

1). Provide your child's school with the cell number where you wish to receive text messages.

2). After updating your cell phone number with the school office, follow the simple steps found here. You MUST opt-in to receive text messages from the district.

drop off pick upDrop-Off and Pick-Up Procedures

We know that drop-off and pick-up expectations can be confusing, especially if this will be your child's first year in a new building!

The maps below were created to help alleviate any confusion and to ensure the safety of our Cardinals. We ask that parents refer to the maps below to learn about entrances and exits at each building and where "bus only" lanes are located. Please call your child’s school with any questions.

Some things to note:
*Masks are required during arrival and dismissal. Please ensure that your child has their mask on prior to exiting your vehicle.

*Parents are to stay in their vehicles and are asked to not walk their children into school or enter the building at the end of the day to pick-up their children and are to only use the car rider locations located on the maps above. Staff will be located at each entrance and throughout the building to assist students.

*Doors will not open at each building until the following times:
CECC-7:30 (Head Start), 7:55 (AM and Full Day Classes) and 11:55 (PM Classes)
Henry Elementary-7:30

latchkeyAfter School Care Program (Latchkey)
Enrollment is now open for CECC, Henry Elementary and Clinton Intermediate School's After School Care Program (Latchkey)

The Latchkey Program runs from the end of the school day until 6:00 pm for each of the three school listed above. If school is not in session, Latchkey will also not be in session.

Enrollment forms and parent handbooks can be found here on our District website.

If you should have any questions, please contact your child's school office.

All students who will be riding the school bus this year, must complete the Transportation Enrollment Form, found at this link.

Even if your child will only occasionally ride the school bus, we ask that you still complete this form ASAP. The Transportation Department will contact you prior to the start of school regarding bus stop locations and schedules.

Please contact the Transportation Department (885-2644 or 1401 N. Washington Street) with any additional questions.

Once available, transportation routes will be found here.
